Grayson staff would like to thank our students for a wonderful year. We are proud of the growth you made this year. Keep working on your academics during the summer, read, write, and work on math. We wish all our Pumas a restful summer and we will see you back on August 6, 2026.

Vision

The Grayson School staff is dedicated to continual personal and professional excellence. Our Dual Language Immersion Program challenges our students to the highest levels of academic excellence. Our students are educated to be fully bilingual/biliterate participating citizens of the 21st century. With the unique partnership among parents, members of the community, and school staff, students learn to appreciate and understand the value of each individual as an essential part of the total community.

Mission

Grayson School Students will:

  • Develop fluency and literacy in two languages: Spanish and English.
  • Achieve proficiency in all academic subjects, meeting or exceeding district guidelines.
  • Cultivate an understanding and appreciation of other cultures and develop positive attitudes toward fellow students, their families, and their community.

Goal

The primary focus of all decisions that will impact the work of Grayson School include: creating fluent bilingual students to succeed in all areas of their lives; cultural diversity in the curriculum which can increase students understanding of different peoples and cultures; and high expectations for academic excellence.

Commitment

The commitment to continuous improvement is imperative if our school is going to enable students, who are valued individuals with unique physical, social, emotional, and intellectual needs, to become confident, self-directed, lifelong learners. Student learning is the chief priority of Grayson School, the teachers, administrators, parents, and community will share the responsibility for advancing the schools mission and vision.
